KIA INTRODUCES FIVE YEAR WARRANTY ON CARENS

Planning a busy summer and need to get the kids, the luggage and dog away in comfort? Kia can’t guarantee peace and quiet but Carens can give peace of mind with a new five year, unlimited mileage warranty.

The bumper-to-bumper warranty is available on all new Carens purchased from 1st April and also applies as an extension to any new Carens sold since launch in September last year. And, provided the vehicle is maintained in accordance with the Kia servicing schedule, the unlimited mileage warranty is transferable to subsequent owners.

Kia recognises the importance of customer service and satisfaction and this bold statement for Carens emphasises Kia’s desire to offer high levels of both to its motorists. The new warranty has been made possible by the improved manufacturing processes at Kia’s newly refurbished Gwangju plant in Korea and the resulting higher build quality.

Paul Philpott, Managing Director of Kia Motors (UK) Limited said: “Following the success of our outstanding warranty offer of seven years on cee’d, we want to clearly show our customers that when buying a Kia, they are receiving a quality product with a guarantee of trust. This new warranty on Carens demonstrates our commitment to truly satisfying our customers.

“We have responded to the fact that the majority of Carens customers are family oriented and as such need a car they can trust, so now the Carens with seven seat flexibility offers the very best warranty amongst its peers.”

Kia’s thinking is also backed up by a recent poll from Whatcar.com which showed that, of the 550 readers who voted, 47% rated warranty as the most important benefit when buying a new car.
